“My life has been a series of bullshit experiences that have always fallen short of what could at best be considered “a good time”. And I’m not saying that some of them weren’t totally my fault. I walked into many of them on my own, eyes open, clear-headed and welcoming. I signed up for things that seemed like the best case scenario at the time that ended up being the worst kind of bullshit. I made promises to do things and commitments to people I had absolutely no business making under the circumstances or to those people.

I’ve spent the past 15 years trying to dig out from under those bad decisions just in time for the economy to completely change. I have been replaced by Siri and smartphone apps. I went to college as a 40-year-old because I couldn’t afford to not change. I didn’t learn very much…”
